Decimal degrees or degrees-minutes-seconds — pick the hemisphere (N/S · E/W) on the right. Mexico is W.
That's all you need. The vessel's name and live position arrive automatically from its AIS broadcasts, and the marker follows the ship from then on. Find any ship's MMSI on marinetraffic.com or vesselfinder.com.
The aviation identity layer: like NORAD ids for space and MMSI for water, every aircraft has an ICAO 24-bit address. Live positions, altitude and speed arrive from the aircraft's own ADS-B transponder broadcasts; find any plane's ICAO24 on flightradar24.com.

You are exploring the network. Nothing is being saved - this browser has no
encryption key. Install a node to get your own encrypted storage, then share
bandwidth, radios and compute.Install a node
Connect a crypto wallet (MetaMask or compatible). Signing one message is your login — no password to remember, and your signature is the encryption key.
You are in Open Space Net unless your account has a cluster of its own — paste its id or invite link to sign in there.
Space Net is in a managed beta: an account is created with an invite code, handed out one by one. A cluster invite link counts as well.
Join the waiting list. Space Net is growing one member at a time while we finish things. Tell us where you are and what you could contribute, and you will hear from us.
One cluster is in force at a time. The
others keep their peers and ledger and are picked up again when you switch back.

🌐 Join a cluster or start your own
You are using the app through an oracle, not on a node of your own. Cluster membership is set on the node itself, so it cannot be started or joined from here — that would re-point the oracle. Open the app on your own node, or install one from /start, and start the cluster there.
🔗 Join a cluster
🚀 Start a cluster
Public clusters published by oracle nodes (the CCSDS directory of the network):
searching the directory…
join with a cluster key
Every cluster has a key that starts its encrypted VPN. Ask the admin for it — it is inside the invite link, after ?t=. Address: the cluster node, or https://spaceai.net for a registered cluster.
visibility
🌍 Public
🔒 Private
Private: invisible to the directory — you share the key directly. Public: published by oracle nodes so anyone can find it (they still need the key to join).
membership
🌐 Permissionless
🔒 Permissioned
Permissionless: any node with the key joins. Permissioned: each joining node also needs your approval.
act as an oracle node?
Oracle nodes keep the public-cluster directory (a DNS for the network under CCSDS naming) and replicate it to other oracles. They never hold cluster keys. Oracles must be reachable on the internet so clusters behind NAT can still publish and discover — this node will test its own reachability and tell you the result.

Blender frames
One video from Storage is cut into pieces, every piece is re-encoded on a different member at the same time, and the pieces are joined back into one file.
A Blender scene from Storage (one .blend with its assets packed) is rendered frame by frame on the network; a preview video is made from the frames. The frames stay in Storage for the days chosen.

cluster — · SPACE AI cloud console · compute, hosting & CDN — metered in ENERGY
A container job runs on a member's machine that offers compute, in isolation, only while that machine is idle, and stops at the budget you set. You prepay the budget; what the job does not use comes back.
KINDIMAGE AND COMMANDFILES
Whatever the program writes to /out comes back as files under /jobs/<job> in Storage, kept for the days chosen. In the environment: SN_IN and SN_OUT.

WHAT THE CLUSTER OFFERS
📡 COMMUNICATION SERVICES — ACTIVATE ON A NODE
Satellite and cellular connectivity resold from our space service
partners. Pick a node — a NODE IO, a ground station or any cluster machine — and switch a service on in one
click. Only the services its radio modules can actually carry are offered. Billed in ENERGY: a monthly
reservation plus a metered rate per unit of traffic.

ACTIVE LINKS
⛓ RESOURCE COMMITMENTS — LOCK FOR A BETTER RATE
Committing capacity (as a provider) or E (as a consumer) for a fixed term secures a
better unit rate. Locks and their collateral are written to the SPACE NET ledger and cannot be released early.
A tracked location is private to whoever marked it. To share it, its owner gives it to a subnet:
a group of accounts and nodes the cluster admin defines here. Files uploaded to a subnet and nodes assigned to one
are seen by that subnet only; a file or node with no subnet stays cluster-wide.
📡 RELAY ROLES
A node with its own radio does not have to depend on anybody's network.
Turn a role on and that node stops being only a client: it carries traffic for the nodes
around it. LoRa reaches its immediate neighbours; an SDR node stands in as local
infrastructure and hands a hop to a satellite when the next node is past the horizon.
THE SHAPE OF THE MESH
📡 SATELLITE & CELLULAR SERVICES
Each node is offered only what its radios can actually carry. Activating a
service provisions it against our partner account and writes the commitment to the ledger;
it is billed in ENERGY as a monthly reservation plus a metered rate.
🔑 HUBBLE DEVICE KEYS
Hubble issues one key per device, and that key is the device's
identity — it is what makes a packet attributable to a node. Keys are held here
encrypted, never sent to a browser, and handed to a device only over the local
network. The fingerprint is shown so two keys can be told apart; the key itself
cannot be read back out once stored.
